This is a challenge run easily accessible by public transport, using trains from Manchester. It links 10 trig points on or near the Pennine Way, in the Peak District.

- For a North to South traverse, start at Littleborough Station and finish at Chinley.
- The total distance is 62.5km, with 2000m ascent.
- The trigs are Blackstone Edge, White Edge, Standedge, West Nab, Black Hill, Featherbed Moss, Higher Shelf Stones, Sandy Heys, Kinder Low, Brown Knoll.
- Much of the route follows the Pennine Way, with a few deviations. Navigation can be tricky on these sections in clag. West Nab involved a climb on a minor trod from the Wessenden valley. Featherbed Moss is harder – leave the Pennine Way near Black Chew Head. Take a bearing or a gpx file! Leaving this trig, head towards Lads Leap.
- Water is plentiful, if you are OK with peaty water. Otherwise, water is not at all plentiful. There may be ice cream vans.
- You could escape westwards at various points, to Greenfield (train) Glossop (train) or Hayfield (bus).
